Bircher muesli, also known as Swiss cold oatmeal, is traditionally made with apple which will put a brighter and sweeter taste on your normal morning overnight oats! Top off with nuts, seeds, and dried fruit and you have a delicious wholesome breakfast.

Ingredients:
- 1 small (120g) apple
- 1 cup (80g) old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup (240g) unsweetened almond milk
- ¾ cup (170g) non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop (31g) Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey vanilla whey protein powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Use a box grater to grate the apple into small or medium sized shavings.
- Place all ingredients in a jar or meal prep container and mix well to combine
- Let sit overnight until the oats absorb all the liquid.
- Top with nuts, seeds, and dried fruit and enjoy! Macros not included.
Notes:
- There is no need to drain any liquid from the shaved apple. The extra apple juices help sweeten the muesli!
- To make this vegan, substitute your favorite dairy-free yogurt and protein powder.
